WiFi in all rooms

La Basse Cour has three guest rooms situated on the first (upper) floor, immaculately clean, comfortably furnished, tastefully and individually decorated, with private bathrooms and Wi-Fi Internet access throughout. The Red Room is at the opposite end of the house from the other two bedrooms (floor plan below).

Garden Views

All rooms feature exposed beams and views over one of the gardens. In your room you'll find an information pack including local restaurant advice, suggestions for days out and useful information on shops, petrol, laundry services etc.

All rooms en suite

All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with large, powerful showers; the Blue Room has two single beds (90cm wide), the Cream Room and Red Room each have a double bed (140cm wide).

Guest Sitting Room

Sitting Room / Library / Tourist Information

The guest sitting room and library has well-stocked racks of brochures, maps and guide books to plan excursions and facilities for tea and coffee. We have extensive personal knowledge of places to visit, both well-known and off the beaten track, and are happy to advise on places to visit if you can't decide. The sitting room has TV with French digital channels - most American shows at peak viewing times can be switched to English language.

Breakfast included

Continental breakfast is included in the price of your room and is served between 7.30am and 9.00am on the ground floor. Breakfast includes home made jams, yogurts and dairy products, fresh fruit, fruit juice, ham and cheese, fresh croissants, bread and pastries from the bakery, tea or coffee.

Children

We do not have family rooms for children to share with parents, but a maximum of two children aged 10 or over can be accommodated in the Blue (twin) room with parents in the Cream room opposite. We do not install extra beds or cots in any rooms. Because we have no "family" rooms for young children and the pond is unfenced, we do not take children under 10 years of age.
